Want to get more involved in a Downtown Association of San Marcos event? The Downtown Walkabout is on second Saturdays from 4-7pm. The event's focus is on generating business and tourism in the downtown area, while cultivating community connections in our historic city center. Free live music and pedicab rides are just some of the happenings!  The planning meetings take place at the Mermaid Society SMTX Headquarters, located at their Wonder World Cave & Adventure Park office space at 1000 Prospect St.  This committee meets each Monday following the Downtown Walkabout event @ 10am.
