The Downtown Walkabout takes place on the Second Saturday of the month, featuring our San Marcos local downtown businesses, live entertainment, free pedicab rides and celebrating our local creative community.

It is free, family friendly, and located in the heart of Downtown San Marcos with a view of the Hays County Historic Courthouse.

Promotion of local happenings is hosted by the Downtown Association of San Marcos and funded by The San Marcos Arts Commission in partnership with San Marcos local Downtown businesses and artists.
